WHO WE ARE

The company Inventarios y Proyectos de Señalización Vial (I·P·S vial sl) is an independent engineering consultancy specializing in the preparation of signage projects, road safety and traffic studies and in the design, development and support of computer applications oriented to the design of signage and the management of road infrastructures, certified by APPLUS in the area of Quality ISO9001 for these works.

WHAT WE DO

The I·P·S Vial team, as experts in the road signage and equipment sector, has participated in drafting a significant portion of the regulations on this subject in Spain, including those published by the Ministry of Public Works regarding horizontal and vertical signage. Currently, they provide technical assistance for road signage to the Ministry of Transport (MITMA) and the Barcelona City Council.


Their InCa infrastructure GIS is used in 12 of the 14 most important municipalities in Spain, including the top 8 (Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Seville, Zaragoza, Malaga, Murcia and Palma de Mallorca), as well as in the Ministry of Public Works for the management of signage on the State Road Network.


Their CarDim software for designing and sizing wayfinding signs has been the standard application in signage companies in Spain since 1992.

The Barcelona City Council has the modules for vertical and horizontal signage, street furniture, traffic lights and pavements.

MITMA

InCa Roads since 2009

The Directorate General of Highways manages vertical signage from its 159 comprehensive maintenance centers.
