Design and dimensioning of orientation signs

CarDim is an application for designing and sizing urban and interurban wayfinding signs. Easy and intuitive to use, it allows you to design all types of signs quickly and efficiently. Since its launch in 1989, CarDim has grown with new improvements and the incorporation of more standards and sign types, becoming a standard program in the signage industry, endorsed by its more than 120 clients.

Main features

Photo viewer

It includes a tool for counting slats from photographs. This feature allows you to design the sign with its actual dimensions. You can also overlay the final design onto the photograph to evaluate the result.

Simultaneous design of portal frames

CarDim allows you to design all the signs on a portico together.

Vector pictograms

CarDim directly imports graphics in vector, DXF, and SVG formats. This allows users to design posters with all kinds of pictograms, emblems, or arrows.

Supports and foundations

CarDim offers all the necessary options for sizing supports and foundations for side signs. All calculations can be exported in CSV or PDF format.
Interoperability
CarDim exports your designs to multiple formats, from vector format compatible with cutting plotters, to measurements in Excel or pdfs with the measurements for manufacturing:
